The Ancients AR combines unique Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities with stunning art and graphics, exciting gameplay and a compelling storyline. It is one of the first real-time strategy games developed with ARKit.The concept behind the game it that the player commands one of three kingdoms located among a vast, murky ocean. The goal is to successfully lead a fleet through a number of sea battles to be victorious in the mission. This will require a wise selection of ships and units as well as strong tactical and leadership skills. Players can also use the power of the Ancients to cast spells on the opponent’s army. Thanks to AR technology users can move the battlefield – a piece of the ocean – into their own desk or floor, and see the battle as if it was playing in front of their eyes. Ancients AR is coming to the App Store in June 2018 and will be the first in the Ancients series. The VR version of the game is to be released later this year.
